Germ Buddies glove wipes are designed especially for small hands to ensure that after using the toilet that the glove completely covers the hand that wipes the bottom area. Unlike normally folded wipes, which often fall off into the toilet, glove wipes will stay on the hand until they are intentionally removed. This means, no more 'yuck mummy, I got poo poo on my hand' screams from the bathroom, or sore backs and balancing acts, bending over to help wipe your little one's behind throughout the toddler and early school years.

Are my Germ Buddies Glove Wipes re-usable?

Glove Wipes are like any single use wet wipe. They are only used once and then disposed of in a toilet waste bin.

There are however some exceptions, for example when used to wash dolly's face, or the teddy bears nose, it is possible that your playtime use of Glove Wipes will be more than once. One parent told me she has a dried out glove wipe in the car and she uses it do dust her dashboard and my daughter made puppets out of two wipes that were left to dry! Wow people are so super creative! Please feel free to use the glove wipes for as many different uses that help you out.

What age should my child be to use a Germ Buddies Glove Wipe?

Well that's the great thing. As long as your hand fits easily into the glove, anyone, any age can use them! They are however perfectly designed to help and assist the little hands of children between approximately 2 years and 6 years old. Just practice using your glove wipe a few times first before your child starts using them in the bathroom alone, to ensure that they can (using the method described below), remove the glove without coming into contact with bodily excretions.

What are the benefits for my child?

Are my glove wipes flushable?

In order to try and protect your child from the bodily excretions, Germ Buddies Glove Wipes are made in a material that is thicker than the average wipe. We do not recommend flushing your glove wipe as this has the potential to cause problems with your plumbing! Just remove the wipe and pop into the bathroom bin for removal with all other bathroom waste products. The great thing is that if removed correctly, turning the glove inside out ensures that the poo poo remains on the inside and this helps to reduce odours and the unsightly view of standard wipes on view in the top of your bin... that is unless of course you are using one of the Germ Buddies automatic opening waste bins where everything remains hidden.

How do you remove a glove wipe and keep clean

Use your Germ Buddies Glove Wipe by inserting your hand fully inside the glove. When you are ready to remove, make your hand into a fist. With your free hand, hold the bottom edge, nearest to your wrist and pull the glove forward whilst continuing to make a fist with the hand wearing the glove. As you pull the clean part of the glove over the fist, the dirty part stays inside and you keep clean and germ free!

Will Germ Buddies Glove Wipes take care of my child's sensitive skin?

The solution used in Germ Buddies Glove Wipes has been carefully tested and is considered safe to use for babies. As Glove Wipes are paraben free, alcohol free and perfume free, unless you have a normal sensitivity to everyday wipes, you should find that the gentle action of the Glove Wipes helps to maintain the normal care and hygiene in the same way that a soft cloth and sensitive soapy water would. If you have any concerns at all, please seek the advice of your doctor before you use any new product on your skin. If you find for any reason whatsoever Germ Buddies Glove Wipes cause you irritation, stop using immediately and seek the advice of a doctor.
